작가노트

나는 지극히 일상적이며 특별하지 않은 평범한 풍경들을 할 일없이 바라보며 배회하기를 좋아한다. 그러한 행위를 통해 평범한 풍경 속에서 낯설고 생소한 상황들을 목격하곤 한다. 특히 부유하던 과거의 특별한 기억들을 끄집어내는 역할을 하는 지극히 낯설고 심리적인 풍경들을 좋아한다. 그 대상에 대한 이미지 보다는 그것들이 만들어내는 심리적인 인상에 더 관심이 많다고 할 수 있으며, 사소한 일상에서 퍼 올려진 기억들을 ‘풍경에 반영된 기억’이라는 주제로 심리적인 인상을 표현하는 풍경 이라고 할 수 있다.

I would like to look at the ordinary landscape, which is very daily one and not special, and to roam without doing anything. I would catch sight of the strange and unusual situations in the ordinary scene through my behavior. Especially I like for the strange and psychological sceneries to play a role in bringing my floated special memories. I can say I’m more interested in psychological impression than in the visual image of the subject. It can be the scene expressing psychological impression under the title of ‘memories reflected on the landscape’ from memories of the little daily routines.
